HOW YOU CAN HELP:

E.A is always willing to help with any conservation efforts. Please let us know if there is something you think we should be a part of.

Consider what the greatest benefit you can offer conservation is. Whether it is your time through conservation projects, raising awareness, donations or a career in conservation. Also have a look at the article link that goes in depth on the benefits and drawbacks of wildlife tourism. Habitat loss is one of the biggest threats to conservation. E.A is very conscious of this and seeks to protect any areas that benefit ecology. This means finding solutions to the conflict that arises when animals and humans live in close proximity. E.A is also focused on the financial management of conservation areas, as this can help reduce their dependence on external funding.

Rehabilitation centers and animal orphanages are often not what they seem. And the existence of some can be detrimental to conservation. Please be very cautious when joining programs that offer animal interactions. Have a look at their affiliations, if they show partners such as Panthera, WWF or EWT you can be guaranteed of their excellence. Hoedspruit endangered species center is an example of an organization doing it right.
